Granola Gourmet was founded by Jeff Cohen, a person with diabetes who was frustrated with the lack of good tasting snacks that wouldn’t spike his blood sugar. He took to his kitchen and created a delicious variety of 100% natural, low Glycemic energy bars. Granola Gourmet uses ingredients that are low on the Glycemic Index. Foods with a low Glycemic Index release carbohydrates and glucose more slowly into the blood stream, thereby keeping blood sugar more stable.
